What did we do to guarantee the production quality of cooler bags
For cooler bag orders, except price, the clients’ most concern is the quality, especially for a new client, they always worry about what if the production quality is different from the approved sample? How can you guarantee your bulk production quality? As a professional bag manufacturer for more than 16 years, what did we do to supply our clients qualified cooler bags? Let’s go for a look:
First of all, after the order confirmed and sample approved, we will convene a pre-production meeting, the conferee include sales and merchandising department, purchasing department, production department, quality inspection department and packaging department. During the meeting, we will discuss all the details and emphasize the major points which need to pay extra attention, like quality standard of all materials, waterproof shell fabric and zippers, leak-proof lining, insulation thickness, printing colors, special packaging method and etc.
After the meeting, the purchasing department will start ordering all the materials, for certain materials they will send approved swatches to suppliers for their matching. Once the materials ready in our warehouse, the quality inspection department will check them as per approved sample strictly, including colors, weight, width, density, thickness and special function like waterproof, scratch resistant, if any part do not match, it will be rejected.
The qualified materials then will flow to production process. During the cutting process, to ensure the accurate size of cutting panels, our staff will calculate how many layers will be cut each time based on different thickness and type of materials. Before printing, we will alert the printing factory to pay attention to the color matching, accurate location, color fastness, any defected ones found will be rejected.
The first finished cooler bag with correct bulk materials will be checked by production department and merchandise department to make sure it's correct, then it will be hung in the work shop during the whole production process. Our QC and work shop supervisor will move around to inspect every sewing process to make sure every step is correct. Any mistakes found will be rectified immediately.
All the finished cooler bags then will be flow to after-finish process, including cutting the thread end, clean the dirty spots, turn over the cooler bags. Any sewing issues or fabric and accessory defects founded in this period will be returned to production for fixing up or replacement.
The next step is packing the cooler bags as per clients' request. The department manager will check the packing details in advance to ensure the cooler bags will be packed in proper way. Such as hang tags, folding method, polybag stickers, quantity per carton, barcode stickers and etc.
Once packaging completed, our QC will proceed a internal final random inspection to the whole shipment as per AQL level ⅱ, (CRT 0, MAJ 1.5, MIN 4.0), which is more strict than the hand bag industry inspection level (MAJ 2.5, MIN 4.0). Only these shipments passed the internal inspection will be shipped to our clients.
Most importantly, we will share images and report to our clients of every step mentioned above, so they can clearly know how's the production going on and make their shipping and sales plans accordingly.
