3) Plant-based materials: Plant-based materials such as corn starch, bamboo fiber, and pineapple leaf fiber, banana stem are processed into fabric and then used in bag manufacturing. These materials have good degradability and biocompatibility.

3. The development trend of eco-friendly materials in bag manufacturing

1)Technological innovation: With the continuous progress of technology, the research and development and application of new environmentally friendly materials will be more extensive. For example, the emergence of biodegradable plastics, recycled fibers, recycled leather, and other materials will bring more choices for bag manufacturing.

2)Consumer needs: As environmental awareness increases, the sustainability of products will become an important factors when they are purchasing something. Especially since we experienced COVID-19, the voice of environmental protection is getting higher and higher. So bag brands also will pay more attention to the use of eco-friendly or sustainable materials to meet consumer needs.

3)Industry standards: With the popularity of environmental awareness, relevant industry standards and regulations will continue to be improved,  it also puts forward higher requirements about the choice and use of environmental protection materials for bag manufacturers

4. Enterprise responsibility: More and more bag brands such as Matt & Nat, Rothy's, Bag-all, etc, have integrated environmental responsibility into their corporate development strategies and contributed to environmental protection by using sustainable materials and advocating green bags.
